Walking across the Market Square our friends surveyed the fenced-off perimeter of the ongoing tramway construction. Our next destination, the Cookie Club on St James Street.
The Cookie Club used to be located at number 9 Pelham Street and was so cramped it felt like you were in a student house. The new premises across from what was once the Imperial Cooler Bar, (now the Westside Bar) is rather more spacious and is more like the chemistry block at my old school. Before we went into the club Chris and I saw our friends Jon Dobson and Adam Fisher and had a brief chat before embarking on the dancefloor finale of our college reunion.
