The Dreamtargets Friends directory was inspired by an exhibit at the Tate Gallery.
Intelligence: New British Art 2000

The exhibit by Douglas Gordon was basically a whole room inscribed with remembered names. An attempt to account for all the people he had ever met in his life.

I was intrigued by this exercise and decided to try it for myself. I recommend you try it sometime and see where your memory takes you!

This friends 'register' is longer than the one you remember at school, as it spans four decades and lists people from all walks of life that I have met, from infant school days, through to college and beyond. If you know me then you are probably listed in the A-Z links above. If you're NOT listed, don't take it personally, it's just that my mind is going or I haven't had time to update your details.

	Childhood [1961-72] This little fella attended Robert Jones Infants and Junior School in Blidworth. He was interested in astronomy, chemistry, drawing comics, Dr Who and the Daleks, the Apollo space program, the Beatles, trains, girls knickers and general mischief.
	Teen [1972-77] This funny chap attended Joseph Whitaker Comprehensive School in Rainworth. He was interested in Monty Python, UFO, drawing, painting, film making, writing, human biology, dada and surrealism, punk music, changing hairstyles, David Bowie and androgyny.
	Student [1977-83] This strange creature attended Mansfield College of Art, progressing to Clarendon College Nottingham and then Leeds Polytechnic. He was interested in sex, clubbing, photography, painting, contemporary art, sound recording, film, travel, electropop, new romanticism and mischief.
	Adult [1983-2000+] This fellow progressed through Video production, Software support and ended up working in Design, Multimedia and the internet. Married with a family and all the usual trappings of adulthood, he is interested in contemporary art, writing, 80s memorabilia, music and mischief (nothing different there then!).
