On Thursday 5th February 2004, comic/musician
Gary Le Strange brings his fantastic parody of 80s
pop-culture to the Lakeside Arts Centre, Nottingham
This is the opening night of Gary's UK tour, performing
material from his exciting new album, Polaroid Suitcase.
Melodramatic and merciless, Gary's tongue-in-cheek
act will appeal to those who grew up posing to the
likes of David Sylvian, Gary Numan, Adam Ant and David
Bowie.
Le Strange's Polaroid Suitcase contains irony, catchy
tunes and some seriously bad clothes. With tracks
like 'Is My Toaster Sentient?' and the Human League
inspired 'Individuals' it's safe to say that we will
all be born-again 'Strangers' by the end of the evening.
Tickets are normally £10, but our exclusive deal
with the Lakeside Arts Centre means you can get tickets
for just £7 (See details below).
We hope that you will join us on what promises to
be an excellent evening's entertainment. Eyeliner
is optional, but feel free to dress for the occasion.
