Rock City Ticket, 1982.

In the summer of 1982, tickets like this were distributed in pubs all over Nottingham.

At this time, teenage DJ Darren Scothern enticed 1,700 people into Rock City’s Futurist disco, with its ground-breaking laser light show and video projection screens.

The popular drink of the era, served in a plastic glass, was the Red Witch, a mixture of cider, pernod and blackcurrant, at £1.60 a pint!
