This stone documents the firm’s expansion in 1974, when 35,000 sq ft of space was added, along with another Giroflux dying machine, for dying acrylic and Tricel fabrics.

The firm was established in 1898 by the amalgamation of Lindley Wright Cox Ltd with Joseph Wright and the Dobson brothers.
