View from Nottingham Castle, 1982.

Here we look across the rooftops of Gunn and Moores cricket bat factory on Haslam Street, which was established in 1889 and relocated in 1999, to make way for canalside apartments.

This view of derelict railway and marshalling yards is totally unrecognisable today, as new apartment buildings have been established along the canal-side, along with the new Riverside Retail Park.

The tall chimneys on the horizon indicate the location of the old Wilford Power Station and the nearby Royal Ordinance Depot.
