Band performance, St. Peter’s Square, 1988.

The sculpture in the centre of the picture is the legendary ‘Leaf Stem’. This abstract structure, enveloped in a gentle cascading waterfall, stood at street level and had a reputation for flooding, much to the dismay of local shoppers.
