Price Board, New Vic pub, Victoria Centre, 1989.
Notice the lack of modern beverages such as ‘alcopops’, and several spelling mistakes!
The New Vic is now a coffee and muffin shop, B & B’s. The 1990’s also saw the transformation of the Victoria Centre’s 3 other pubs; the New Welbeck, the Milton’s Head and The Prince Albert, to retail outlets.
The Prince Albert also became the city’s first internet-equipped ‘Cyber pub’ in 1995. |
