After winning the European Cup in 1979 and 1980, Nottingham Forest Football Club enjoyed a sustained period of successful wins under the management of Brian Clough.

Capitalising on their success, a new stand with a capacity for up to 10,000 spectators was built in 1980 at a cost of £2 million.

The Brian Clough Stand incorporated 36 executive boxes and an impressive corporate hospitality suite. This was followed by redevelopment of the Bridgford and Trent-End stand during the early 1990’s.
