Catering students, 1980.

The college’s highly successful courses in hotel management, catering and hair and beauty provided students with the skills required by Nottingham’s emerging service-based economy.

In 1998 Clarendon amalgamated with Basford Hall College to form New College Nottingham. Now one of the largest colleges in Europe, the main annex is housed in the impressive Adams Building on St Mary’s Gate.
