Clock Tower, Nottingham Co-op, Parliament Street, 1989.

The Nottingham Co-op building has a chequered history. Part of it was built as early as the 1870s, although this particular clock tower dates from around 1900. The rear of the building was added in the 1930s and backs onto Wollaton Street.

In the 1980s the Co-op's company slogan was ‘The Caring, Sharing Co-op’.
