Sinclair C5 advertisement, 1985.

This bizarre electric-powered vehicle, developed by British entrepreneur Sir Clive Sinclair, and launched in January 1985, featured a polypropylene body and a top speed of 15 mph!

‘Think Electric, Think Wigfalls’ was the slogan for this retailers in the 1980s. Unlike Sir Clive’s inspired ZX80 home computer, the Sinclair C5 was a commercial failure.
