Advertisement, Carlton Road, 1989.

This ancient advertisement extols the benefits of tea drinking. It was pasted onto the side of Swift and Swallow’s Scale makers, of 98 Carlton Road, which is now a florists’ shop.

In 1982, a packet of Brooke Bond tea cost just 19p.
