Co-author Paul Fillingham (left) shows a scrapbook to local Fire Fighter, Brian Marshall. These books document life in and around the city and form the basis of the book 'Nottingham in the 1980s'.

In March 1985, Brian took part in a special passing out parade at Nottinghamshire Fire Brigade Headquarters, which was attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
