In the 1980’s, presenters such as the late Dennis McCarthy, Andrew David and Freddie Gaunt were featured on this station, as well as the popular ‘Afternoon Special’ and ‘Weekday File’ programmes.

Radio Nottingham transmitted its first broadcast in January 1968.
